Dogs and cats sleep 16 plus hours a day so the support you can give their bones and joints is of the utmost importance. The Sleepy Hippo mattress is 8 inches thick and is made of cooling gel memory foam and orthopedic foam, like a real mattress.

Our mattress comes in two options: standard or with a bolster that takes up 3.5" of the length. Small dogs and cats usually prefer the bolster for extra security, especially on the high-profile frame. With large dogs you will want to take into consideration if your dog likes to sprawl out and needs the extra space without the bolster, or if they like to lay their head on a bolster.
